we talked about mental illnesses that affect the everyday lives of us all. Today I decided to talk about what you need to know if you are struggling with mental health issues. It’s not easy, but it sure does get better and more manageable when you do something about it. So here is my list of five things that make me feel supported by someone or even just like someone understands when I am down on myself. These are:

1. You make yourself feel important 2. Someone cares what you have been through 3. Something will help you understand why you are experiencing your depression 4. People don’t judge you 5. You are allowed to cry (I hope)
